I went to go pick up milk and ginger ale from the grocery store because my mother was sick, and get lunch for myself. As I was leaving the lot there was traffic all over. I waited until I could turn left, and a Acura SUV and Corolla that appeared out of nowhere almost hit me in the side. They both slammed on their breaks and honked at me, i tried to keep calm and drove home, my hands where shaking from the shock.

My windows where down too, ultimate embrassment. I don't want to drive for a bit now.

First accident: backed into and up on-to an Audi Allroad. Stupid move.

My dad lost his accord coupe by backing into a Nissan X-Trail, the whole rear of the car was under the X-Trail. Ironically he bought an X-Trail after that Accord, he was impressed that it didn't take much damage.

Glad there's an "almost" in there.

You should know, however, that when I hear "appeared out of nowhere" I usually assume it's because the driver could have seen them, but didn't. Stay safe.

I completely take full responsibility, it was my fault. I didn't see them.

Scary almost accident, but it'll heighten your awareness. Glad all is well.

I've never caused an accident (cross my fingers) but I had way too many 'almosts' when I was first driving. Stay safe out there.

Thats always the problem people have with motorcycles. They look but they just don't see. Its a really weird phenomenon but happens all the time. Guess all you can do is learn (unlike me. Made the same mistake of driving too close on two separate occasions and punted the car in-front) and do your best to avoid it happening again :) .
